We Learned to Humble and Surrender Ourselves to a Holy and Perfect God, and then He Taught us How to Forgive

 

We were headed towards divorce, relying upon our own understanding and the ungodly counsel offered by “Christian Counseling”, friends, family members, and lawyers! Then, by His divine providence and perfect timing, he led us to Pastor Steve. We stopped relying upon our own understanding. God used Pastor Steve to teach us what Biblical forgiveness looks like. And after we offered true Biblical forgiveness to each other, our wounds began to heal and then God reconciled us.

Pastor Steve relied solely upon the sufficiency of God’s Word to teach us about God’s design for marriage and the covenantal relationship in which we have been bound.
